रेडियो प्लेबैक इंडिया की यात्रा साल 2007 से आरम्भ होती है जब भारत और दुनिया के विभिन्न देशों में रह रहे कुछ भारतीय मूल के लोग मिलकर साहित्य को स्वर देने का एक जैसा स्वप्न देखते हैं और उस सपने को साकार करने के लिए “आवाज़” नाम का एक प्लेटफॉर्म बनाते हैं। इस प्लेटफॉर्म पर साहित्य, संगीत और सिनेमा, इन तीनों पक्षों पर काम करने का लक्ष्य आरम्भ से ही निश्चित किया गया। साल 2011 में “आवाज़” को नया नाम दिया गया “रेडियो प्लेबैक इंडिया”, इसी नाम के तहत साहित्यिक कृतियों को स्वर देकर कई नए प्रयोग किए गए तथा अब तक किये जा रहे हैं।
उस समय ब्लॉग की दुनिया में एक बिलकुल नया प्रयोग था कि जब “आवाज़” पर कई कवियों की कविताओं को पढ़ते हुए हमारी टीम द्वारा ऑनलाइन कवि सम्मेलन आयोजित किया गया। इसके अलावा हमारी मेहनती टीम द्वारा अनेक छोटी और लम्बी कहानियां स्वरबद्ध की गईं। प्रेमचंद की कहानियों की रिकॉर्डिंग करके विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलन में एक सी डी लॉन्च की गई। शास्त्रीय संगीत को जन साधारण तक पहुँचाने के लिए एकदम सरल भाषा में आलेख लिखे गए। फ़िल्मी गीतों के बनने के पीछे की कहानियाँ साझा करके लोगों तक पहुंचे गईं।
हमारा उद्देश्य है भारत के एवं विश्व के अनुदित उत्कृष्ट साहित्य को आवाज़ के रूप में उपलब्ध करवाना, अर्थात ऐसी कवितायेँ, कहानियाँ जिसे पढ़ने के अलावा सुना भी जा सके। इसके लिए सम्पूर्ण टीम सतत प्रयत्नशील रहती है। आज कल आप रेडियो प्लेबैक इंडिया द्वारा प्रस्तुत जो विभिन्न कार्यक्रम सुन रहे हैं, वे हैं – एक गीत सौ अफ़साने (फ़िल्मी गीतों के बनाने के किस्से कहता है), राग- शास्त्रीय संगीत पर आधारित कार्यक्रम, बोलती कहानियाँ – देश दुनिया की हिंदी कहानियों को आवाज़ रूप में प्रस्तुत करता है, एक मुलाक़ात ज़रूरी है – फिल्म एवं साहित्यिक गतिविधियों से जुडी महत्वपूर्ण हस्तियों का साक्षात्कार प्रस्तुत करता है, ए रन फॉर फन – जीवन की भाग दौड़ के बीच कुछ हास्य का रंग बिखेरता है, 5 मिनट ज्ञान – जड़ी बूटीयों और व्यवहारिक ज्ञान को बच्चों के जरिये प्रस्तुत करने का अनोखा प्रयास है, फिल्म रिव्यु – टीम मेंबर्स किसी नै फिल्म की समीक्षा के साथ हाज़िर होते हैं और काव्य तरंग – कविता, ग़ज़ल, शायरी को प्रस्तुत करने हेतु बनाया गया कार्यक्रम है। इन सबके अलावा एक अन्य कार्यक्रम है सप्तक, जो टीम मेंबर्स द्वारा लिखे गीतों को संगीतबद्ध करके उन्हें स्वर देकर लॉन्च करता है।
इन दिनों हमारी टीम द्वारा क्लब हाउस एप्प पर लाइव कवि गोष्ठी एवं कहानियों पर चर्चा की गोष्ठियाँ आयोजित की जाती हैं। जिसमें हमारे साथियों के साथ अन्य क्लब हाउस मेंबर्स भी भाग ले सकते हैं एवं अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दे सकते हैं।
ये सभी कार्यक्रम नियमित रूप से हमारी वेबसाइट एवं अन्य कई सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स (स्पॉटीफाई, सावन, अमेज़न म्यूजिक, गूगल पॉडकास्ट, एप्पल पॉडकास्ट, यूट्यूब, फेसबुक, इंस्टाग्राम, ट्विटर इत्यादि) पर अपलोड हो रहे हैं और बेहद पसंद किये जा रहे हैं।
